About Multimedia

In this era we must know about multmedia.Maybe you always hear  the word of 'Multmedia' and thats familiar word .Maybe you use one of multimedia but you dont know the definision or the explanation ?? Now I will explain about that, I will explain multimedia in a brief from some source.

Multimedia is a means of (media) in which there are a mix (combination of) various forms of information elements, such as text, graphics, animation, video, interactive and sound as a support to achieve the goal of conveying information or just provide entertainment for its target audience.Multimedia is the field concerned with the computer-controlled integration of text, graphics, drawings, still and moving images (Video), animation, audio, and any other media where every type of information can be represented, stored, transmitted and processed digitally.

Multimedia can be categorized into two kinds, namely linear multimedia and interactive multimedia. Linear Multimedia is a multimedia that is not equipped with any control device that can be operated by the user. Multimedia is running sequential (sequential / straight), for example: TV and movies. While a multimedia interactive multimedia is equipped with a controller (or aids, computer, mouse, keyboard, etc.) that can be operated by the user, so the user can choose what they want to process Examples such as gaming applications. Interactive multimedia combine and synergize all media consisting of text, graphics, audio, and interactivity (draft).

Multimedia finds its application in various areas including, but not limited to, advertisements, art, education, entertainment, engineering, medicine, mathematics, business, scientific research and spatial temporal applications.example for : Creative industries,,Entertainment and fine arts,Education,Journalism,Engineering,Mathematical and scientific research etc.
Multimedia can be presented in several methods, among others:
- Based Paper (Paper-based), for example: books, magazines, brochures.
- Based Light (Light-based), for example: slideshows, transparency.
- Based sound (Audio based), for example: CD players, tape recorders, radio.
Based moving images (moving-image-based), for example: a television, VCR (Video Cassette Recorder) movies.
 - Based Digital (Digilatally-based)
